Just the other day I got Art Academy (First and Second Semester) for the DSi, which is basically intended to help you get better at painting and pencil drawing. It's actually pretty realistic. Also, when you finish a piece, you can export it to your DSi's photo album, which makes it so you can either manipulate it, post it to Facebook, or put it onto an SD card. I've been using it as a portable art set so I can make small paintings or drawings (640x480 pixels) anywhere and then putting the pictures on my computer so I can upload them to dA.

Also, I got an amazing set of art supplies (it's an easel/box with three drawers that came with 12 acrylics, 12 watercolors, 12 oils, 9 brushes, 2 drawing pencils, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, 2 palettes, 3 palette knives, 12 art pastels, 12 oil pastels, 12 colored pencils, and a few other assorted things) and a canvas pad. I was pleasantly surprised that the things that came in the set are actually pretty nice for how cheap the whole thing was.

What all of this means is that, in short, I will be posting a lot more art, at least for a while, since I have a way to paint and draw things better now. Also, I will probably be taking down a few of my older pieces that I don't like as much, since I'd like to move towards my dA gallery being a representation of my best work rather than just a collection of random pieces.
